Take the National Numeracy Challenge!
09 June 2019
Did you know that National Numeracy day was held on Wednesday 15th May 2019?
The campaign was setup with a view to raising awareness of the importance of numbers in everyday lives. The campaign focuses on helping people improve the number skills that we all need to help us make informed decisions in everyday life, so no algebra or trigonometry!
Over 48,000 people have taken the first steps towards better numeracy through the National Numeracy Day campaign, and the National Numeracy Challenge has had almost a quarter of a million learners overall. The campaign is supported by celebrity ambassadors such as Rachel Riley and Martin Lewis.
Whilst this challenge will not only help you improve your maths, it could help you support your children or grandchildren, or even colleagues in the workplace build on their numerical skills.
We think it’s a great ‘brain workout’ and a good way of improving your overall numeracy. Why not try the challenge yourself? Follow the link here to test and improve your mathematical knowledge – good luck!
